- between Bude and Tintagel, near Boscastle, on the North Cornwall Coast, in a superb location less than 100 metres from the sea and the beach at Crackington Haven.
Crackington Manor offers 2 flats; the POWER HOUSE sleeping 2-4 (1 bedroom, sofa-bed in the living room) £155-£360, and the MANOR FLAT sleeping 6 in 2 bedrooms (1 double; 1 family) £235-£435.The flats are located in the spectacular scenery of the Northeast Cornwall Coastline, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Cornwall Heritage Coast, 1 minute from the beach and facilities, which include 2 beach cafes, an inn and the local bus route.
They are ideally situated for walking, with footpaths through a variety of countryside (rolling hills; wooded valleys; farmland; cliffs; riverside walks; coastal paths) virtually on the doorstep. Walking the South West Coast Paths is greatly assisted by the bus service which runs from the Haven via Widemouth Bay (6 miles) to Bude (10miles) and, in the opposite direction, to the picturesque harbour of Boscastle (6 miles) and to Arthur’s country and Tintagel (8 miles) and back. (It is also possible to travel as far as Truro by bus from the Haven.) |

Own transport is not essential
It is possible to travel here by rail and bus or coach and the local bus route is on the doorstep, also we can usually help if you’re stuck. You don’t have to carry so much luggage as we provide towels; bedding; cleaning items; loo rolls; washing-up liquid; soap; and can supply tea; coffee; milk and bread (which we bake ourselves), and help with other provisions on request.
The local shop and PO is a mile away and the nearest supermarket town (Bude) is a 25 minute bus ride from the Haven.
We think that the immediate area repays a thorough exploration and you could find all you want from a holiday right here, but if you want to explore further afield, the buses are accessible enough to do so. |

Dogs accommodated free
We don’t object to your leaving dogs unattended in flats at times if you think they’re OK. We have a stair gate if you want to contain them a bit. The beach is non-dog from Easter to end of September, but there are plenty of other walks for your dog and you could visit Strangles beach (1 mile down the coast to the south). PLEASE CLEAR UP AFTER YOUR DOG– TAKE A BAG! and there are also doggie bins in the Haven. |
